Hello Everyone,

My name is Amanda Hasselvander and I am a 20 year old Marion County resident. I attend school at Central Florida Community College. I am currently earning my degree in Business/Economics. After earning my masters I plan to go on to obtain my certification as a buyer in the fast paced world of fashion! I am also currently working as the assistant manager at Buckle. I plan to begin traveling across the United States in preparation for becoming a store manager.

I have been involved in the arts since I was a little girl and was a four year member of Marion County Center for the Arts where I performed various dance forms around the community for charity events. I am a firm believer that the arts has an immense effect on youth and their future and because of this my goal is that all youth are able to be involved in the arts despite any financial circumstances. This year I plan to continue to raise money for all middle and highschool age students who want to become involved in the arts and donate to the school or arts academy of choice.

I am extremely excited and ready for the wonderful year I have ahead of me as Miss Gainesville USA. I have to thank my supportive group of family and friends that always believe in my dreams and aspirations. I hope I continue to make you proud!  Chelsee I am so thankful to have the opportunity to work with you and your amazing team. I know I will truly grow as a title holder and a woman this year. My new sister queens, I cannot wait to continue to get to know you!  I am sure we will all grow to be inseparable!
